REVIEWS ON MY FAVORITE PLACES

Dyu Art Cafe

"Dyu Art Cafe" in Kormangala.
Located very close to Fennys, down that lane, the immediate left after the convention centre and your here!
Ambience- With the setup of an old big house that one would not normally find in urban areas, this cafe is the perfect setting to make a person feel at home. While there is music playing in the background, it is soothing to one's ear, while maintaining a quiet and cozy atmosphere.

Service- With food being served within 10 minutes from the time of order, for an individual like me , when hunger can seriously curtail my level of patience , this is an attribute in itself that makes this place a dream diner.

Food- Hmmm now this is where I would like to say " please get some more things on your menu apart from sandwiches and salads!" A burger or two would do no harm! Come on!
But for the very limited menu they had the taste was not too bad!

Price- The best part! We had a veg salad a chicken sandwich,a glass of lemonade , coldcoffee and a chocolate cake for dessert and it only cost us 460 bucks! So a total value for money!

Overall- Not a bad place to visit for a decent meal with a good ambience and the amazing prices!

Must try - CHOCOLATE CAKE !!

MAHESH LUNCH HOME

Originally from Bombay (Fort Area, where I first sampled their awesome garlic butter prawns!), these guys recently have opened an outlet on Residency Road, just next door to Chancery pavillion (opp Bangalore Club). The ambiance is decent.
Service is painfully slow! Repeat...painfully slow!

Food is good, has to be...since its Mahesh! The prawn gussi, Fish Mallipuram and butter garlic prawns/squids are out of the world! Other fare also is pretty decent. Couple that with good accompaniments like Neer Dosa and Appams and Breads...its heavenly!

The recent groupon coupons helped me sample a long list of food which I found fairly decent...ranging from Koliwada Fish, Chicken Soup to Gassis/Appams etc.

For the kind of food they serve, pricing seems a tad on the higher side. But what they can truly improve is their service and ambiance  At the moment, too damn slow!

THULP

The names in the Menu are awesome and very unusual (KOLI DOSA-omlette,Moo's yoo daddy etc.)
Apart from having a good food,Read some books from the Shelf .
Best place for the hard core meat Burger lovers,Pork burger(The Ho CHi Minh) is the best if i have to choose. Bit pricy for a BURGER but after a bite i am sure you will forget about it.
Overall a very very GOOD place and revisit is required.

MUST TRY - ROAD HOG

PHOBIDDEN FRUIT

Vietnamese food at its best. Food served in a very simple yet appealing manner, along with the warm and friendly service of the staff, this place is the perfect setting for a diner. While retaining the culture of Vietnamese food with its flavor and taste, this is a "must visit" for all. While burgers and other fast food are in a rat race of their own, this restaurant and its food are matchless, both in value and taste.

CHINA PEARL

This is exactly the kinda place for people who don't like authentic Chinese food but really wanna have Chinese feel to the food they eat. They have very pleasant music and the ambiance is great. I have visited this place more than 12 times as i can recall. The price may be a little more than usual but its really worth it for a few visits. Food is excellent . Value for money.
